Of course. You guys did nothing wrong, but they'd still have to respond and carry out at least a cursory check if Guncraz go and complain right? Besides, the complaint was about some of your modified guns looking too real.

Now, unless you've been waving your heavily modified guns around in the shop a lot, most of the pics of those guns were posted up here, and thus it stands to reason that whoever reported you probably used to visit these forums and isn't doing so anymore because he mucked up and is bitter about it.

Yes its guesswork, but not without basis and rational deduction, even if JT doesn't actually stop to think for a moment about how logical it sounds and simply assumes its because guncraz was "against" me. All that serves to do is show how petty JT, if he has to make every small thing personal. Grin

Besides, I never said it was definately guncraz. I said "probably". Now you've all learnt english in school and are grown-ups, I am sure I do not need to give you the definition of "probably" and the context in which it is used in?

Good.
seriously i wonder who is the petty one who loves to ride on many of my other threads and link back to what i once posted... i mean let it go already man... i get it that maybe u get a kick out knowing a thing or 2 and showing the guys that you could be one of us so yeah great for u that u seem to have balls tooo yeah?? Seriously i shan't waste my time with a little biatch like yrself who only gets pleasure out of trying to show the guys that she is so much better then us just BECOZ she is able to play with REAL guns unlike the poor little us who on this little red dot can only touch real guns during NS! I'm sick and tired of listening to yr shit and if u think u r sooooo damn great bring yr guns back to sg lo and see whether or not u can still boast about this gun and that gun.

I have spoken to gungraz personally and he is NOT like the person u made him out to be ok. I've met girls like u b4 who aim to seek attention in a normally male dominated evironment and believe me it's not attractive! Honestly to get all this crap from someone who chose to leave their home country and go elsewhere is totally disgusting and if u wanna carry on and make more noise then by all means go ahead.. it'll just prove what a spoilt little biatch u are and that u must always have the last word. I'll be waiting

Anyways, airsoft in UK is not without legislation. They were considering banning it awhile back, but didn't because of the FINANCIAL impact that banning a fairly cash-intensive sport would have on the economy. It wasn't because they respected the rights of their citizens or anything high-minded.

Sadly, as with everything in life, money talks, and if you have an airsoft industry that is significant enough in your economy, then it is unlikely to be banned outright unless something like what happened in Germany happened. Otherwise, like in Singapore, its probably going to be very hard to have it unbanned because there never was any significant commercial airsoft interests to begin with.

True; even so if it have contributed much to the economy. It is still a no-contest with the financial sector.

Speculate on this; Ka-ching!  You have gazillion of dollars.....
Speculate on that; Ka-ching!  You have another gazillion of dollars......

Of course, spec wrongly and you lose BIG TIME!

I am guessing that unless the local authority has someone who is really friendly (bootlicking in another context) and into airsoft plus dead rich like Warren Buffet. Maybe (and I am just guessing wildly) then airsoft is legalised.
That would probably mean be a MP from "Zeus' Mt. Olympus Party" to be "installed" there as Chairman or Head-honcho.

Because paintball event are being held here and with close affiliation with government link companies, the event went off without a hitch.

If this is a private event; my goodness! Do you even think that is possible?

Lol all I need is to say one thing to prove you're full of shit and that your theory is wrong: I'm not attracted to men. Please. do go on about me posting here to attract male attention. I won't be buying so many guns and buying only the good stuff if I didn't have a passion or knowledge about it, but I guess that's completely passed over your head once again isn't it? You only choose to see what you want to see, like so many other people in Singapore. I disgust you? Good, you disgust me too. If Sinagpore wasn't so full of petty little short sighted people like you whose heads are so far up their own arse that when you fart you get high, maybe I'd be tempted to stay.

Now piss off whiney little boy. Don't flatter yourself, who the F do you think wants to attract you? Please, have you looked in a mirror lately? Now kindly stop getting in the way of a good discussion. Sorry for raining on your parade, now grow some spine and deal with it.

As for Guncraz, since you've met him before, and he's such an honest upright upstanding ex-police citizen according to you, why don't you try explaining why he has airsoft guns in his private possession and why he PMed me asking to secretly buy more. Hah, birds of a feather as they say... or more accurately, snakes and rats in the same nest.

That's not all.

BT's 2 owners and me were hauled for questioning by the cops.

Apparently, we got feedback by some "concerned" character of the guns being too real.
Well, after some questions, the cops left us & all is well.

Unless there're ppl totally mentally incapable of comprehension.

Don't start your BB guns and your mighty secret arsenal to us......you will never know who is the cop off duty.....

Nah, that case was one female customer (a student), who was seen in public with one of our sold m16's (which look real enough out of the box) and the person complaining was a overreacting kiasee member of said public. Said student was approached by the police and of course she referred that she got the gun from us. After the police confirmed that we are licensed and we got our guns from approved sources, all was well.

Despite the overreacting general public and police branches who don't share information with each other often (Always checking with each other whats legal and whats not all the time)

I believe should not take out the guns (even unmodded ones) in public because some by default look kinda real at a distance. Taking out in full view of everyone is just asking for a tight slap to the face unless its at a local hobby event/convention.

Basically don't spoil market because i feel this type of thing is walking a fine line between legal and illegal when some idiot uses such toy guns in a situation like intimidation and robbery this whole thing will collapse like a house of cards.

I believe most of you guys who mod don't even take it out beyond your own home and it should stay that way (unless u go cosplay). If you buy off the rack somewhere else and want to check it go hide in a toilet cubicle and take a look in private or check on the spot when you buy at BT.

I wouldn't be surprised about that.

Friendly & Loyal to Zeus' Party & you are given privileges, things "mortals" ( as we are being called by a MP) wouldn't even dare dream of.

Most paintball and airsoft owners are one way or another is a member of the Zeu's Club, directly or indirectly....that wouldn't come as a surprise to all.

Very good point. Did said customer have it without the packaging? It's a bit like airsoft really. Never bring it about in public without being in secure storage that hides it from plain sight.

By the way, theres another worry to owning replica firearms, be they BT models, or airsoft. Should anyone be unfortunate enough to have a break-in, there is a chance that replica firearms get stolen, and then used in crimes. It's happened to airsofters here before, it could happen to you too. No matter how harmless the BT models are, maybe a secure case and storage is a sensible precaution.

I tell you, what you've just said doesn't even begin to scratch the surface. I have a very damning example but if I mention it I'll probably fall foul of the official secrets act.

Also, are you familiar with Redwolf airsoft in HK? I know a guy who works at Redwolf. He's the guy who basically drew up the whole business plan for the turf city site, and was rejected by the Sg govt, and then his business plan, ideas, everything, get handed wholesale to the people who run the turf city site now... scrupulous of PAP hor?

I was ex-civil service too.
That's why I was so careful in dealing with them.

In fact, that is standard MO for their ilk. Explain to them everything, they reject it and then take the idea said, claim as their own.

Happened more than once.

I never revealed more than needed. Citing business secrets, need to know basis......

truthfully? The Americans, the Russians and the China chinese. Especially the China chinese. To have only ONE political party and yet a thousand factions within the same party is amazing. Everyone has their own little agendas and yet all officially are part of the communist party. If thats not a stirling example of politicking, I don't know what is.
