Disclaimer: Expect Sarcasm.
Maybe its a bit limiting and maybe it may cause some problems however, why are we being so strict now with the sale of our toy guns? Here is a list why observed in this past week alone:
Problem 1: Customers request to open and test the gun, then after doing so they take a different box instead. When asked why, they say they want an unopened box and then ask us to assure them its working. Our stance: Then why did we bother opening 1 to let you test in the first place? how can we assure you the other box you take is working if we don't test it in front of you again?
Problem 2: Customer tests gun and its working, but a day or 2 later they call back requesting an exchange because item is no longer working. Our stance: Normally we will exchange if we still have stock, but its getting very tiresome explaining that for the low price you're paying for a mass produced made in China toy, you can't expect them to bother giving top notch quality controlled circuitry.
Problem 3: Customer complain BOX is damaged and request a box in pristine condition. Our stance: If those who complain as such are willing to pay for PREMIUM air courier services, maybe we'll consider getting you boxes in superb condition. On another stance, some customers come and keep taking the boxes in and out and randomly dumping them back, hence obviously the boxes will get damaged.
Problem 4: Customers complain gun looks childish. Our stance: The guns sold here are to be used as a base for modification. If you want a gun coming to you lookingr realistic, sound realistic and weigh realistic. Buy a real gun. Hopefully the authorities here will LET YOU. You can't expect to get your dream model gun out of the box here. We CAN try, but are you willing to pay the price required?
So instead of wasting everyone's time and to appease everyone's tastes and the occasional ridiculous expectations without regard to local LAW: We now strictly state before every purchase and collection of toy replica guns that they are strictly for the sake of modification and we will show you the item is undamaged PHYSICALLY. We will no longer entertain exchanges or complaints about bright colored parts, sound or the lack of it, lights or the lack of it. Guns are strictly now for modding to display. unless anyone can offer a better idea?
Oh and we are working out a sort of modification services for a fee. However its not available yet. Further news on that once we work out how to offer it.

Eh, crap, I must have forgotten to click "Post".
Anyway, methinks Problem 1 is an observation I've seen among other Singaporeans going about daily life. It's pretty much the same as browsing through a book, then putting it back in the stack and picking one in pristine condition out to purchase. Such is the mentality... No offense to anyone, I am Singaporean myself too...
Just an observation.

LOL I removed the lights and sound in mine and threw away the box...
Childish looking? i admit some of guns don't look 1:1 and looks like it was miniaturized for a midget and would look really weird if i held it up with my body size.
Then again if modded correctly it might just look pretty damn cool.

Thats really the whole idea of modding. We keep checking links and sources for every model, but alot of those are not even 90% scale. Sow e won't take them.
The only good ones that are 100% scaled are the airsoft ones from HK, however we obviously can't bring those in.

You'll be surprised. Some airsofts aren't 100%. 99.95% more like. When someone buys some real steel part and finds that the dimensions are off by a couple of mm. Sometimes when someone buys a hard moulded holster like a Glock SERPA and finds that their Glock is a bit too tight, or is too loose and rattles around inside. Just an interesting observation of course.

Once again, even after even gentle verbal reminders that the plastic guns (except foam blasters) are sold strictly for modding and not function... there will always be someone who wants for play or function... seriously.... the disclaimer is already on the very front page of the site for a month now....

Especially for my shotgun. Buy already, nothing works, that's until I opened it and fixed the loose parts myself.

LOL, that problem is easy to fix.
Actually today got a kid come in near opening time, want to buy a rifle and play and wanted me to sell a modified display gun to play with in public. I told him NO he can't do that, then he tried to play punk and said he had better airsoft guns at home.
Big mistake.
One of the other customer there was an officer (off duty). (Was at the shop buying a bag/pouch for use)
Poor thing. A search warrant and his particulars was taken down. Probably lost all his airsoft guns.
Never see that kid before... first timer and blur as hell I'll bet about laws here in Singapore.

Seriously, its situations like that, that make legalizing airsoft in Singapore again near impossible.
Police have told us alot of times liao, and even TGOW, they won't go after the shop, they go after the troublemakers. Thast why I always tell my custoemrs and regulars, follow the law and exercise common sense.

Looks around 13-14. The officer in plain clothes, he just put his hand on the kids soldier, took out his identification and said "police. Please follow me outside." -.-;;
I was surprised, but was expecting something like this to happen sooner or later.
Anyway, new guns tonight, had a long otherwise boring day today. Nite all.

I bet the kid has nothing at home and was talking shit. But a good scare for him, maybe he'll lose the attitude and stop being a f**king twat.
